DREAM OF MY FATHER’S LAND
FICTION
In 1914, while the world was focused on Europe, where World War I had just begun, a major earthquake occurred in the South Pacific Ocean. At that time nobody knew it because technology was not advanced enough to detect that far away occurrence. But one satellite of an alien race orbited outside the Earth’ atmosphere already saw it happened.
The earthquake was so powerful that it created a group of islands in what had previously been a desolate ocean. The archipelago consisted of 13 large islands and about 61 smaller ones, with a total area of more than 600,000 square miles.
The discovery of the new archipelago was quickly reported to the space observation center in the Rose Capital of planet Lilyanna. An emergency government conference was convened shortly thereafter.
These aliens had a language completely different from the languages on Earth, but because they discovered the Earth more than 700 years ago and intended to invade it, they chose one of the human languages to use for that specific purpose, and after much discussion, they decided to choose English.
That was why their capital was called Rose in English and their planet was called Lilyanna because they were a people who loved flowers very much and their planet had over 3,000 different types of roses, both in color and shape. The special thing about their roses was that they had no thorns.
The satellite that saw the islands appeared after the earthquake in the South Pacific Ocean was one of more than 40 satellites that the aliens had set outside the Earth’s orbit four hundred fifty years before. Because they had a technology that was far more advanced than that of humans, their satellites were invisible and could not be detected by radar which mankind had not developed yet. Even naked eye could not see them.
After more than 500 years of war with another alien race, the entire population of the planet Lilyanna united to become one nation and elected Mr. Benjamin Hopewell as president.
During the emergency press conference regarding the discovery of a new island chain on Earth, the government of Benjamin Hopewell immediately recognized this as a rare golden opportunity for Lilyanna Planet’s personnel to officially establish a new nation on Earth.
This decision was accepted by the entire government and then the plans and related works in building a new nation were carried out immediately and kept absolutely secret so that no one on Earth could discover it.
