RETURN HOME | Luke 15:20-24 | Original Christian Worship Song with Lyrics | Sing Along
I stumbled and lost my way
Hardships abounded, sorrows surged like boundless sea
One day, I awoke and paused wandering steps
Looked around, saw only utter solitude
I lamented the days gone by
Years stretching ahead with deeper anguish
I yearned to find true happiness
Yet amidst this darkened world, hope felt distant
One by one, my friends departed
Leaving this life behind
I stood utterly alone
Family seemed so far away
Hopes I cherished seemed to be lost
I was waiting as the days drifted by
Far from home, a sadness lingered
I watched and waited for the season to turn
Then, amidst darkness, a ray of light burst forth
A call of grace beckoning from above
Startled, awakened, I heard upon the wind
Voice of the Lord, gently pleading: "Return home"
I leave behind this restless wandering life
My sorrows now swiftly fade away
Oh, how boundless the Lord's enduring grace!
I halt my aimless wandering and return to Him.
