GOD IS THE ONLY DIVINE BEING

The Bible reveals that God is the First and Self-Existent, Eternal One (Exodus 3:14). He is also the only all-powerful Being in the entire universe (Isaiah 43:13, 44:24). Apart from Him, no other divine being exists (Isaiah 43:10, 44:6, 45:5, 18). This means that the idols found in other religions are either products of human imagination or established through Satan’s deception of mankind (Deuteronomy 32:21, 1 Samuel 12:21, 2 Kings 17:15, 2 Chronicles 13:9, Psalm 31:6, Jeremiah 10:3-5). Therefore, according to the Bible, all religions of the world are entirely false (Isaiah 44:15-17, Jeremiah 51:18). The claim made by unbelievers—and even some Christians—that every religion teaches people to do good and shun evil is completely contrary to the Truth of God found in the Bible. If Christians believe the words God has spoken—particularly in Isaiah 43:10, stating that “no god was formed before Me, nor shall there be any after Me,” and in Isaiah 45:5, declaring “I am the LORD, and there is no other; apart from Me there is no god”—then we must believe that God is the only Spirit in the invisible realm. These words clearly reveal that, apart from Him, no other spirit exists in the invisible realm. The Word of God reveals that He is the First and the Self-Existent One. Because God is a jealous God who does not share His glory with anyone else, He certainly did not create any spiritual beings other than His angels. Therefore, the deities found in other religions certainly do not exist. Reflecting on God’s self-existence confirms this truth: the Lord is the supreme and only One. For this reason, Jesus Christ declared Himself the First and the Last (Revelation 22:13). These words clearly reveal that, apart from Him, no other spirit exists in the spiritual realm. Some Christians mistakenly believe that while God is the greatest Being in the invisible realm, other spirits exist and are worshipped by different religions; however, this thinking contradicts biblical truth. God is the primordial Spirit and the only One; there are no other gods. Angels, meanwhile, are merely created beings, brought into existence by God. The spirits found in other religions, along with the accounts of the invisible realm in their scriptures, are simply products of human imagination.
